Virtual Psych(o)Cave is an innovative project that merges virtual reality (VR) with neurofeedback to create a unique, immersive experience. The project is divided into two distinct applications, each offering a different perspective on participant interaction and data visualization.

Application 1: Interactive VR Experience
‍In the first application, participants engage in a real-time, interactive VR experience using a VIVE PRO 2 headset integrated with an EEG device. Here’s how it works:

1. Shape Selection: Participants start by choosing one of six abstract shapes using their VR controller.
‍
2. EEG Data Collection: The EEG device captures brain activity using six electrodes, monitoring various brain wave channels such as delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma waves, as well as left and right brain activity. Using this data, the system calculates metrics for rationality, relaxation, attention, and creativity through specialized formulas.
‍
3. Shape Manipulation:
‍Rational Participants: If the initial EEG data indicates high rationality, participants can cut the chosen shape 3-5 times. Each cut introduces a procedurally generated texture based on their emotions. After each cut, they select one of the two resulting shapes and continue the process.
‍Creative Participants: If the initial EEG data indicates high creativity, participants can break the shape into multiple pieces (3-5) by pointing with the controller. They select one of the broken pieces and repeat the process, similarly generating textures based on their emotional state.

4. Unique Creation: At the end of the process, each participant’s unique creation is determined by their actions and emotional data. They receive an empathy score—a sophisticated metric quantifying the magnetic allure and intrinsic appeal of their masterpiece.

5. Server Submission: The final piece, along with its empathy score, is sent to the server for display in the second application.

‍Application 2: Visualization and Interaction

‍The second application is focused on the visualization of all created pieces and allows for interactive exploration.

1. Search and Display:
Piece Search: Participants can search for their unique piece by typing its ID on one screen.
‍Empathy Score Dynamics: The second screen displays all generated pieces. These pieces interact dynamically, being pulled towards each other based on their empathy scores.

2. Visual Interaction: The display creates an engaging visual experience where participants can see how their creation resonates and interacts with others, reflecting the collective emotional landscape of all participants.

Each exhibit includes an audio guide that provides fascinating insights about the buildings and composers, and for composers, you can also listen to their representative melodies. Quest for the Hidden Gift is a captivating 3D adventure game designed as a Secret Santa present. You play as a young boy searching for his sister, who knows the location of a hidden present in the real world. As you navigate the game, you'll encounter several dead ends, each featuring a magic stone and a riddle. Solve the riddle and search for an object in the real world that fits the answer, where you'll find a sticky note with a code. Enter the code into the magic stone using the controller to advance in the game. Ultimately, you find your sister, who reveals the hidden present's location in the real world. Enjoy this magical blend of virtual adventure and real-world treasure hunt!

CycloQuest VR is an innovative VR experience that combines real-world cycling with immersive virtual reality. Using a bicycle equipped with an Arduino device to measure rotations per minute, the data is transmitted via Bluetooth to the VR headset, where it is converted into in-game speed.

The project offers two exciting modes:

Explore Mode: Pedal through multiple 360-degree environments, enjoying the scenery and discovering new virtual worlds.

Race Against the Clock: Engage in a thrilling race where you must pedal and steer the bicycle to navigate obstacles, collect points, and reach the finish line with the highest score. The handlebar, equipped with a controller, determines your direction. Along the way, collect special items like extra lives, magnets, and immunity to boost your performance.
